The LST-325 WWII Landing Ship Tank was the last fully operational ship in the US Fleet. The ship was built at the Philadelphia Ship Yards in 1942 and was part of the invasion on Normandy in June of 1944. Similar style ships were built in Evansville for the war. The LST-325 has been docked in Evansville since 2005.
